Joleen is a lifelong Lutheran from Westbrook, Maine.  She was the church secretary at the Augusta, Maine Lutheran Church for 7 years and secretary here at First Lutheran for over 30 years.  She enjoys her ministry as the initial contact by many visiting First Lutheran and helping out with active leaders , committees and the Children’s Programs. She has been a member of the New England Lutheran Secretaries organization.

Joleen and her husband, Abbott, have been married for 54+ years. They have been members at First for 32 years. They have one daughter and two grandsons; one is in college and one graduates high school spring 2018.

Joleen is also active in Women’s Bible Studies and has taken the Bethel Bible Series.
