Please join us at Fort Williams Park (1000 Shore Road in Cape Elizabeth) on Sunday, July 12th for a special worship service followed by a Potluck Picnic Lunch.
We will be in the covered picnic shelter on top of the hill. Worship begins at 10:00am, and the picnic and fellowship will follow. Please bring a pot-luck dish to share.
- We will be setting up starting at 9:00; the Worship service begins at 10:00.
- There is free parking in the Overflow Parking lot, which is the first right turn as you drive along the main park road. One can walk from there to the Picnic Shelter, and we will be shuttling folks from the parking area to the picnic shelter.
- Handicap parking is free for those with handicap plates/placards in the lot below the shelter.
- You can drive to the shelter to drop off people, food, etc. and then go and park.
- (Other than the Overflow Parking lot, all areas in the park are paid metered parking.)
- The Picnic Shelter is located on top of the second hill on the right as you drive on the main park road–it is well marked.
- There are 12 picnic tables in the shelter; feel free to bring your own lawn chairs or a blanket if you wish to sit out in the sunshine.
- Dogs are permitted in the park, but must be kept on a leash (except in two designated areas).
- Plates, napkins, utensils, cups, trash bags, serving spoons, paper towels, a “washing station”, water, lemonade and iced tea will be provided.
