Healthy churches are filled with healthy volunteers! A brief peek into a Family Promise site, Children’s Programs site, or Sunday morning worship reveals this to be oh-so-true of First Lutheran. So many hands are needed to guarantee the success of FLC ministries; these many hands continue each week/month/year to create the foundation on which our ministries flourish.
Maine Needs is a community focused donation center based out of Portland, striving to help Mainers meet their basic material needs. We partner with them to collect essential donations of clothing and household items.
Providing quality childcare since 1970, FLCP offers a warm, safe, fun and loving environment for ages 1 year to 12 years.

Getting a good start can make all the difference. Our Give a Child a Chance initiative raises funds to allow neighborhood children in need to attend our preschool program.

Crop Hunger Walks, Give a Child a Chance, The Root Cellar, and more.
